For our expedition, we wanted steel hand-made frames, which nowadays, are more and more difficult to get. We chose steel frames for the reason that this material is very strong and easy to repair. After having looked for steel all around Liège pr
ovince, several people told us to visit Armand Deroy. Armand, is a 80 years old man. When we explained him our project, he accepted directly to build our three steel frames. Since he is born, Armand lives in a bicycle world. He has already build many frames for famous cyclists
Armand Deroy Shop has a long story, and we can see it ! The singing of his numerous birds welcome the customers to come in .
In his workshop, this is a real exhibition. There are hundreds of frames tubes, bicycle tools and machines spread all around his workshop.
The serious things are starting ! Armand prepares the gaz bottle to start the welderings . .
